While many people say the magnet isn't strong enough, I have the heaviest iPhone you can buy (iPhone 13 Pro Max) with a MagSafe Otterbox case yet adds more weight and I have no problem. The magnet could definitely be stronger but when I use it 8 hours a day in my work car it has never dropped very firmly due to speed bumps, potholes, curbs etc. I hope it stays that way, but it's never leaked for me when I had my phone on, so don't worry. The double sided tape you use to attach it is very strong. And they even give you an extra amount if you want to move location. Duct tape is also nothing to worry about. I'm afraid of the problems I'll have removing it because it's holding up so well. Nevertheless, I bought 2 more, that's how much I trust this product. One for my personal car and another where I find it useful. I just wish it was a little cheaper. Almost $19 is a bit steep for how simple it is, but it looks like a one-time purchase product, so it's probably worth it.
