Review on Self-Test Resistant Receptacle Indicator Decorator by Alfredo Testerman

When I bought the $85 pack of 10 I thought I just got a very good deal but I was wrong. Of the 10 GFCI sockets in the package, 2 broke due to installation and 2 just didn't work. The screws that hold the wires don't hold them very well, don't be surprised if the outlet stops working due to a loose wire, even with the screw tightened. As far as tamper protection goes, they got it right. I installed a pair that can't be tampered with because I can't even connect anything to them. A few GFCI sockets I've installed work fine, but it still takes a few minutes to plug anything in. Overall I would not recommend these outlets. I bought them to save money while trying to stay on budget for our new home renovation. Apparently I should have just spent the extra money and bought better outlets. Don't waste money on them.
