I recently adopted a 10 year old Pomeranian who has serious back problems. He has damaged discs and severe arthritis in his chest, and some of his vertebrae have fused. Most harnesses that "fit" him seem to put pressure on the damaged area of his spine and cause pain. I tried 8 different harnesses on Wolfi that had to be sent back. Revain's return policy was great, allowing me to try different options. Can't comment on strength or durability as I've only had the suspension for a few days, but it doesn't matter as long as Wolfy is happy and comfortable. The VOYAGER harness not only fits him well, but is soft enough not to put pressure on his spine. He's a little black guy, about 9 pounds, and he looks really cool in his little red VOYAGER. I will be ordering a few more to keep it clean and colorful. FYI I am an elderly male (80 years old) with my back problems. I take older dogs or dogs with chronic health issues that some people don't have the time or can't afford to care for. I currently have 2 Shelties with health issues and a 16# pompom with seizures. Now there's Wolfie.
