Well, they have to be big enough to be caught by the rollers that pinch and pull the paper. If you use this with common sense and put in a little effort to remove the staples, this shredder is a godsend! No more sitting around shoving sheets into a small volume shredder, no more copying indestructible pieces, and no more cluttering up the floor! I LOVE THIS CAR! Takes up less space than a printer, can even stand on a counter and weighs a lot less than I thought! I am absolutely amazed by its effectiveness! I highly recommend this product and nobody gave or suggested anything to me to write this.
