Pretty decent USB3 switch. No problems with the USB3 switching function itself. The selected system recognizes connected devices perfectly, while the non-selected system just behaves as if the devices are disconnected. I only wish this switch had a remote control that came with it. It's very inconvenient to have this switch on your desk with all the cables, as the two system ports are on the back and the device port is on the front. especially when the 2 cables going to the systems are only 3 feet long. Fortunately, this switch is easily modified to have a remote control. Because I added a remote control, the USB3 switch can be under my desk with other cables, and the switch is within reach on my desk without getting tangled up with all those USB cables. The buttons on this switch lower the signal level (connect to ground) when pressed. To add the remote I just got a piece of 3 wire 24 gauge single pole double throw (SPDT) switch. For example: E Support Heavy Duty 20A 125V 15A 250V SPST 3 Terminal (ON)-OFF-(ON) Snap Action Rocker Switch Metal Bit 5pcs Then solder 1 wire to ground and 1 wire to each switch on the USB switch. At the other end, a ground wire was tied to the center pole of the switch, and each of the other wires was tied to one of the switch's throws. Best of all, the buttons on the plug-in USB switch still work. The remote control lets you just pretend to press a button on the switch itself.
