Review on Stadler Form Anticalc Cartridge Replacement by Michael Morgan
It helps, but not enough.
This device is identical to the one that came with my Stadler humidifier. Whether it's new or old, I find it a bit inadequate. I still get quite a bit of white dust around the humidifier if I don't filter the water first. I ended up just installing some water filters under the sink to filter cold faucets and only fill humidifiers out of it. It was pretty cheap and easy to make, and tap water tastes a lot better now. However, due to the barely noticeable efficiency, they are a bit overpriced and far from what is needed. The manufacturer has to redesign them to do much more than the current design.
