Review on 🧤 Optimized Rawlings Sandlot Baseball Gloves by Joseph Winfrey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

good skin; Ready to use for teens or medium-sized adults.

I needed a ball catching glove because my 11 year old son is now throwing at an incredible speed. My cheap infielder glove didn't offer enough padding. I have almost no experience with mitts. In fact, it's been almost 17 years since the last rare event. The bottom line is that I wasn't expecting to play like Johnny Bench. But on arrival the glove was serviceable, almost fully broken in as advertised. I could put it to good use right away. For the record, my 11 year old son felt like it wasn't for him at the time. He was uncomfortable squeezing it and I'm sure it's about the size of his palm. It's all about what it delivers though, so it wasn't a disappointment, just a note on size. This size is best for teens or average height adults. Professionally, I wear medical gloves every day: I use the size "Large", which is medium for adult men, and they fit well. I have short fingers but wide palms. The skin feels comfortable. There was a small stain in the pocket which would have been disappointing if I had ordered it as a gift, but cleaned up well with a regular leather conditioner (you know, the kind that comes in a can of shoe polish). But the gift wasn't my goal; I needed it to catch loads instantly. And for that it worked.
