Company Golden Glove!

I liked the two-tone color of the glove, it's a tie for me. Haven't used the glove yet, but I've played ball long enough to say that this glove is as tough as any glove you'll pick off the shelf. Let's just say it's not as bad as I expected. I've been using Rawlings products for over a decade and each glove has stood the test of time. No wonder they are called the Gold Glove Company. Went with the standard 12.5" for most 1st base gloves and I'm happy to try them. You seriously won't find many…

Very good ready to use glove

Received this trapeze basket for my 11 year old boy who mainly serves in the travel field and plays with a little RP. He really liked the coloring and the feeling. We also tried wicker from the same line and he could have used any of them but preferred this one. It's been about a month and he says it looks like it's completely broken, although it was so soft he was able to use it in a game the day after buying it. He has fairly normal hands, and he said that inside he feels like he has a good…

Nice glove and great value for money!

I bought these gloves primarily to play ball with my son and also to use as an assistant coach on a minor league team. My very old glove ended up getting dirty and I decided to try Rawlings Sandlot. It's partially broken in and certainly ready to use out of the box, but needs a little more work to feel truly smooth. But isn't that true of almost all decent gloves? Anyway, after a few days of use, I can honestly say that they've gotten nice and soft (I've helped them with the glove oil) and I'm…

Very good glove, excellent value for money.

I love these gloves, they look great but dude, the "Zero Shock" palm will work your hand out for quite a while. The mittens come partially shrunk, but you definitely need to use them to make them comfortable and flexible. very thin layer of mink oil with a dry cloth. Put the ball in your pocket and tie it as tightly as possible with a shoelace. The next day, you can put the ball down, fold the glove in, and start banging it against the door frame. I mean beat the ever loving snot out of him…

good skin; Ready to use for teens or medium-sized adults.

I needed a ball catching glove because my 11 year old son is now throwing at an incredible speed. My cheap infielder glove didn't offer enough padding. I have almost no experience with mitts. In fact, it's been almost 17 years since the last rare event. The bottom line is that I wasn't expecting to play like Johnny Bench. But on arrival the glove was serviceable, almost fully broken in as advertised. I could put it to good use right away. For the record, my 11 year old son felt like it wasn't…
