I wasn't sure if the marker could mimic the ease and style of a calligraphy pen, but this one does! I can't draw a line as fine as with a calligraphy pen, but it works best for writing between photos. I would not fill in the family tree, the marking is too wide. Tip: Take a marker and rotate it so the tip is slightly angled, then write as you normally would - no need to rotate the marker to get a stylized look!
