I got them for two reasons. one to keep in our camping kit and two to light those glass shaped candles at home when their wicks dip too far to be match lit. I like the functionality there and the ability to charge them so they run out of lighter fluid. They did a good job with the candles and did a great job when we went camping. With one of them it was easier and safer to light the stove. I haven't had to charge either one yet, and it's been a few weeks now. We don't like candles every day, but quite often. The "burner" shuts off after a few seconds, presumably to avoid overheating, and that seems to do the trick.
