Bought this for my unheated garage a few years ago. There was no propane. My friend uses it and he covers everything in his garage with condensation. I didn't want to worry about kerosene. So I climbed the wall above my desk and aimed at my desk. On cool days up to about 40s this makes the immediate area very livable and extends for 10ft. When it gets REALLY cold, 0-30F, it really can't do much, but it's not designed for that. There's no on/off switch, so I just plug it in and out. Two on each end, pointing down, would probably be a better idea. but this is just right for me. No problem.
