Little waste heat with power consumption

I bought two for my 500 sqm workshop. ft. I set them up about 8 feet off the ground on opposite sides. They work "well" but don't generate enough heat for a relatively small workshop. Even when both were on, they jumped 20 amps out of the circuit.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Be careful. in heating, cooling and air quality

I have used this heater less than 3 hours total, today after about 25 minutes of operation it has shorted out and tripped the circuit breaker every time you plugged it in. Stay away. Update: After I disassembled it, reassembled and taped everything back, it still works fine. But I disassemble it wildly, clean the wiring and protect it from chafing and overheating.

Pros
  • Many will
Cons
  • weak

Great for my workshop

Bought this for my unheated garage a few years ago. There was no propane. My friend uses it and he covers everything in his garage with condensation. I didn't want to worry about kerosene. So I climbed the wall above my desk and aimed at my desk. On cool days up to about 40s this makes the immediate area very livable and extends for 10ft. When it gets REALLY cold, 0-30F, it really can't do much, but it's not designed for that. There's no on/off switch, so I just plug it in and out. Two on eachโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Anemic heater for outdoor use - no switch or thermostat

This is a well designed unit for outdoor use but there is a lot more light than heat. I bought this to use on my patio umbrella. It's mounted above a sliding door that faces my spa. I was hoping it would provide enough warmth to stand underneath while drying off in the spa in cold weather, but it just doesn't give off that much warmth. My propane patio heater is much more efficient when lit. Didn't expect it to heat up the room - only people standing under it for about 5 minutes. It'sโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Difficult to remember but it was
