I bought two for my 500 sqm workshop. ft. I set them up about 8 feet off the ground on opposite sides. They work "well" but don't generate enough heat for a relatively small workshop. Even when both were on, they jumped 20 amps out of the circuit.

I have used this heater less than 3 hours total, today after about 25 minutes of operation it has shorted out and tripped the circuit breaker every time you plugged it in. Stay away. Update: After I disassembled it, reassembled and taped everything back, it still works fine. But I disassemble it wildly, clean the wiring and protect it from chafing and overheating.

Bought this for my unheated garage a few years ago. There was no propane. My friend uses it and he covers everything in his garage with condensation. I didn't want to worry about kerosene. This is a well designed unit for outdoor use but there is a lot more light than heat. I bought this to use on my patio umbrella. It's mounted above a sliding door that faces my spa. I was hoping it would provide enough warmth to stand underneath while drying off in the spa in cold weather, but it just doesn't give off that much warmth.
