These jacks look great when viewed online. I didn't try them because I knew straight away they were going to be sent back. They only arrived in the box they are in, not another box with protective shipping packaging. The box they came in was dented, the tape had ripped off, and it had at least one hole through which one of the pins might have been missing. At the bottom of the box was what appeared to be thick paper. The main part of the two stands was pressed against each other - there was no protection between them. A needle dangled from a chain and could hit any color it could reach. The ratchet bar/saddle parts weren't wrapped at all, but I think that may have been the starting point for the thick piece of paper. These would be nice looking double locking coasters and more secure than what they would replace. Unfortunately my 20 year old stands (without the double lock) have more paint than these new ones.
