Although I had previously criticized the model 2520 in another review, this model shares the same base, the same cartridge, and other similar components; however, everything functions properly and is straightforward to set up. This model completely meets all of my expectations. The benefits of it include: Excellent performance when connected to a network (through an ethernet cable) and used with a router. It prints quite well both from mobile devices (!) and laptops that are linked to the network through wifi (the printer itself is connected to the router by an ethernet wire). There are other inexpensive cartridge options available; the cartridge itself is straightforward and does not contain a photo drum. The printing process is quick. Having this drawback: I've been using WiFi 5 at home for quite some time now, so even though this device has built-in WiFi 2.4, I didn't even bother to attempt and use it. It was necessary for me to attach an ethernet cable to the router.
