Chuck holds the smallest drills, $30 less than Bosch

Was looking for a compact drill for my rec room. . This Delco ARD12119P 12V AC drill and the Bosch PS31-2A 12V AC drill meet this requirement. This AC Delco drill bit is slightly longer than Bosch but $30 cheaper with very similar characteristics. To be fair, Bosch comes with a carrying case, but does it cost $30? I do not need it. The older Makita Cxt12volt drill has a chuck that holds tiny bits that the newer Lxt doesn't, but they're bigger, heavier, and much more expensive. Do not keep small pieces. Makita, Dewalt, Milwaukee, Ridgid, Ryobi, and many others with a fully enclosed drill chuck leave a gap that tiny drill bits won't fit in. Finally, this is great exercise for hobbyists. It's compact, lightweight and great value for money too. Before I find this drill I would choose the Bosch PS31-2A.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
