Slight tweak needed, but powerful!
At first I thought it arrived dead on arrival, but then I remembered that my other (lighthound) Surefire 6P replacement head needed an adjustment. I compared the spring length to what I was removing. The UV head I ordered here had a shorter spring length than the aftermarket head I pulled off. I simply stretched the spring to match the length of the one that came out of the light, and it worked! It is a very, very tight beam. But it is VERY BRIGHT! I can't confirm the lumen output because I don't have any other UV to compare it to. I bought it to check the UV dye for an oil leak test.
