Weak metal bends. The kayak flew off the car onto the highway.

Total failure! Do not buy. The kayak fell off the car on the route! Used twice, metal bends easily in one set. After half an hour of sailing, a kayak began to sway due to a bent metal bracket. Pounded it into a homecoming uniform and a kayak flew out of the car! Dangerous garbage! Bought 2 sets for the top shelf in our car. One sentence seems good, but the other was terrible. Don't take chances with this poor quality.
