Review on 🐱 Optimize Your Cat's Nutrition with Instinct Grain Free Dry Cat Food - Original Raw Coated Natural High Protein Formula by Michele Turner

Revainrating 1 out of 5

First a nagging pounding cough, then horrible nausea (whole foods)

My girl Tina weighed 18 pounds. Her fur was dry, her skin was dry, and every time she heard me put dry food in the bowls for our other 4 cats, she would come running. Instinct got good recommendations from veterinary weight loss websites, so we gave it a try as it was "high protein". At first, instinct suppressed the urge to eat, and Tina felt "satiated." So I started feeding it to my older cat who needed a high protein diet to gain weight. Both were fine for a few days. Then came a dry cough. Then a terrible vomiting in both. Terrible, body-rending vomit and a pathetic howl. Instead of gaining weight, my older cat started losing more! The fat cat has practically stopped eating. My vet came in, looked at the packaging and noticed "flour" in the ingredients. She said there might be ticks in those bags. Yes, TICKS live in them ---- she suggested freezing the bags to kill the ticks. She wasn't thrilled with the amount of "food" or vegetables. After the food was worth I tried to freeze --- resumed feeding and the vomiting started. Again. More diseases from chicken than from salmon. I will not buy again.
