To be honest I didn't know how to tell if it was powerful enough for my needs. That's what she said. I tried loosening the seat belt bolt and it immediately drained the battery without moving anything. So, I think this drill is for light projects only, not heavy work. More importantly, it's not 3/8. It's 1/4 which I found out after buying some 3/8 bits separately and then 1/4 when the 3/8 was too big. And my seat belt is still unbuckled. I needed a break from this confusing mess for a girl who relied on text, information and descriptions as I know nothing. This purchase has only made my life more difficult. Of course I reconfigured it. I think I'm saving for a real exercise.
