Can be a daunting task depending on vehicle type, but WORKS!

We bought this air door operator - BECAUSE it says it replaces 89018365, 604-106, 52402588 - Fits Chevrolet, Chevy, GMC - Silverado 1994-2012. Well we have a 2004 GMC 2500 and decided to test it out. Because our 04 GMC truck blew hot on one driver's side and cold on the other, and sometimes both sides, it was too hot in the summer and nobody objected to the warm air in the winter. We took it to a so called reputable local AC mechanic who said he couldn't find the problem. But then we were charged 1 - adding more freon that wasn't needed and it showed the freon was good, 2 - they also installed another compressor after the one they installed first, no problem too seemed to solve. 3- and another part whose name I don't remember. We figured they'd probably be laughing all the way to the bank. While we were billed for outrageous parts that didn't solve the air conditioning problem, although they didn't charge us for anything other than a part I can't remember the name of, the car compressor spare was still under warranty; Dot-dot-dot but replaced what looked like a bandage and unnecessary bill regardless of who was paying. It taught us a lesson when we returned to them after the dealer used them on our car air conditioner to no avail. After all that, plus a period of burning and getting cold, less than a month ago we got the car tinted to try and save ourselves some heat waves, luckily for me, the guy and I chatted us and when I mentioned how hot it gets in the truck sometimes when my air is on and I said something about what I felt was the problem I needed to solve. I said I think the cab doors don't open properly something similar happened to his pickup truck which he pointed me to and casually mentioned it was probably my air operated door damn I've never heard of that I'm not a mechanic i want to be: but i went home and immediately did a little research on google drives and the results are there my friend. I then picked up Revain when I saw this part on Amazon. I was glad it was reasonably priced, but to this day I still couldn't afford it and needed a solution. The day came, a few days later that same month, on payday, I could afford this role. Anyway, I had to make a decision, I needed an oil change, so I went to Walmart to get everything I needed for an oil change, filters, oil, you know the drill, then I noticed where the air filter was in the salon was listed. NOW I'M BACKED UP again because I can't find this filter number at Walmart so I go to Revain where I can't find anything. UPDATE: We also bought a cabin filter with our AMAZON air drive filter. Okay, so we decided to watch a YouTube video where we learned how to help ourselves and saw how others learned it too. After the video we went outside to find everything on our car. Of course you know that not everything will be exactly like that, but it was close enough to give us instructions on what to do. when we observed someone having problems and did this to install a 2004 chevy they solved their problem we gave it a try based on this and many reviews on amazon we decided to buy this item along with other parts, which we saw we needed this week just before this weekend it arrived about a day later along with the air drive filter and the door in case we need to cut a hole like in another car and the installer has it made fashionable air filter youtube video, GOOD NEWS, our climate problem is solved, the air filter part we haven't cut yet for the mod but next time maybe next weekend needed thanks to a tip from our tint that really alarmed me I got a call to wake up to because I couldn't figure out what the air conditioning problem was for two years and all I had to do was find an old cabin air door, thought I was scared. I didn't want to remove the whole stroke. The install took a little over 20-30 minutes because we took our time and we have a really different build than the Chevy installer in the YouTube video we're watching and we're not mechanics, but it was a lot helpful and for a day, i guess in under 2 hours we were able to get the job done. So, thanks to Revain we found all the parts we needed to get things done at a much lower and more affordable price than what we paid a professional. I would recommend this air drive part if you have this or that type of vehicle on the list. Hope that helps.
