A simple dress without the butterflies would be just as beautiful, a soft dress. Butterflies are just awful. First, they're cheap, uncomfortable felt, wrinkle and fold, and I know from experience they don't wash well. Second, the butterflies in the center are sewn on too much, forming a hard, spiky ball of thread under each one, making the dress so uncomfortable that it cannot be worn.
