The ability to connect our system directly into Health Catalyst's system makes it possible to have an interface between two very important pieces of software (HC & HCM). It does not appear as though there are any downsides other than some limitations around how many characters you can use per field or what kind of data types they support? That said - we were able to get this up quickly because I knew exactly where all my fields would be since HC has already created them. We did need someone who knows both systems well but once those people came onboard things went smoothly! There isn't much else to say about healthy outcomes except perhaps its ease of implementation which made getting started quick and painless. Connecting from one program to another so easily allowed us to see if everything synched correctly without having employees jump back and forth too often.
