Don't just stick the thing on the faucet and immediately turn on the water! ;) I bought this product to rinse my color treated hair in a stainless steel kitchen sink (much easier than washing a tub!) and it worked perfectly. But the device's simplicity means you can't just turn the water on at full blast and expect the seal to dislodge from the end of the faucet in some fun slapstick fashion. I kept the water pressure at about half of the maximum pressure and that was enough to rinse my hair without incident. Imagine it's not, but it did the job.
