The right tool for the job
I've just overhauled my EJ25 SOHC engine and I'm very glad I bought this specialty tool. I've seen all sorts of YouTube videos and hacks for removing and tightening the harmonic balancer. Using this tool and a 26 inch breaker it took me a few seconds to remove the harmonic balancer. When installing the crankshaft pulley, it is very important that the bolt is tightened to the specified torque. This tool has allowed me to get the job done safely and without damage. Admit it, you're already saving a ton of money by doing the job yourself, so why not spend a few extra bucks and get the right tool for the job.
