This lamp is really great. I have never seen a bike taillight that offers such high visibility even in bright sunlight. It can be too bright on higher settings for night driving, to be honest, but you can easily dim it. I can't believe all the pathetic bike lights I see don't get your attention in a meaningful way. When you consider a bicycle taillight, you clearly think about your safety. Before you buy a $12 light or anything else, ask yourself if your safety and life is worth the extra $25-$30. Of course you do, so don't get caught with anything else on the street. That's a bomb. One thing I would have liked to see from Cygolite in the next-gen model is the improvement in battery life. I'm not complaining about the battery life as I think it's good but the form factor of this flashlight is so small that I really feel like you can double the size of the flashlight with a bigger battery and you won't have a problem . I know this makes the light more expensive, but it's worth it.
