Seems perfect for my purpose.

As I'm new to this stuff I have no experience with other products so I'll make this little disclaimer from the start. I searched the internet for elastic yarn and read reviews of what appeared to be the best product possible and was disappointed by complaints about the problems people were having with different brands - broken knots, stretch wear and no re-tuning etc. I got good advice from a man who recommended recommend pre-stretching the string 10 times before use, and I did that with this brand. All I got it for was a bracelet of 21 10mm diameter stone beads. By pre-tensioning the rope I managed to get it through the holes twice which took a while because the holes are so small but I managed to pull it through, I tied it without pulling too hard , so as not to break the knot. and then I used a dab of super glue - actually a brand name "Zap-A-Gap" that's a bit thicker than super glue. With only 20 beads the bracelet would be too tight, but with 21 it just dangles a bit. So far the double elastic thread has held the beads tightly together, so far so good.
