Review on OPT7 Redline Triple LED Tailgate Bar Rear Sensor Tow Assist 4-Pin Module V2 - Improved for 2018+ Trucks with Backup Reverse Camera or Trailer Tow Assist Package by Tyrell Christmas

Bought an OPT7 LED tail light bar for $100. but it kept throwing tow errors on my dashboard and never worked properly. I contacted OPT7 support and they said I need this adapter to get my truck to just turn on the lightbar instead of towing something. I bought and installed an expensive adapter, hooked it up to my truck battery but to no avail, the problems are still there. I contacted OPT7 again and they said I would need to wire the light bar directly to my tail light harness. So now I have an adapter that is useless and non-returnable, and I still have to hook up the tail light harness to get such an expensive light bar working. Very frustrated at the moment, spent over $140 and still not working properly. Currently disabled until I have time to connect the wiring harness. Get a simpler lightbar for $30, they work better and don't require fancy adapters that still don't work. I had to stick with my previous cheap candy bar.
