I am very surprised at how much I like these buffing pads. I originally ordered them to help with occasional projects I have around my house. My first project was to prepare an old dressing table for painting. I would like to point out that these pads do not perform this particular function well. More like polishing. There isn't a single pad with a coarse enough texture to harden the surface. However, I used a pad to polish out scratches on an old turntable dust cover with a polishing paste and am very happy with the results. Changing the pads is easy with a Velcro fastener, which takes a second. Easily attaches to any drill. If you want to polish or burnish but don't have this tool but have an electric drill, this set is what you need.
