I recently bought a small BiOrb aquarium for my cockatiel and while it's not that big it holds about 4 gallons - way more than I can fit myself. Sink for changing the water. I needed a way to pump out some of the water for a partial replacement without making a big mess and I first looked at a similar manual pump hose offered by BiOrb. I don't normally buy off the shelf consumables for this tank but this one seemed like a no brainer and it certainly works great. It took me a minute or two to figure out how it works and got it pumping out water at a good rate (you have to keep squeezing the little bulb while it works), but in no time I had several gallons. pumped out of the tank and could clean stuff. The little grate on the end that goes into the water kept it from picking up rocks from the bottom of the tank and left my little moss balls alone. Combined with the collapsible bucket, aquarium cleaning has never been easier!
