Note: I rode 40 miles cross country with this vest, not enough to speak of its durability. But so far so good. Fast hiking, no cross-country running. The transition from backpack to vest was a big step. Love that it rides up and you can easily move your arms to climb. Even when loaded, it is snug and stays in place. Nothing jumps. Accessing the zippered phone pocket on the right side is a bit tricky, but that's my only design issue and it doesn't matter to me. I've heard of premature wear issues with squeezable water bottles, but the strap bags hold 16.9 ounces just fine. water bottles too. They made this thing as light as possible but still strong and I will never leave it at home.
