I needed a freezer, not a fridge, to haul frozen food 200 miles and this Iceco 42 is widely regarded as the 'best' portable freezer. researched portable "coolers" and found this Iceco was built with an excellent "pump" and user-verified components that attest to quality and durability. If you have the budget buy an ARB otherwise this Iceco 42 is comparable if not equal, it's capable of keeping temperatures below freezing, runs quietly and has insulation to keep the power going for long hours in the car to keep cold. It is about the size of a person when filled with food. My first "test" was to pour water into an ice cube tray. and freeze it into ice, disconnect the Iceco and let it sit for two days and the ice cubes will still be in the mild to warm fall/fall weather. I don't think I can expect more. It is a great luxury to be able to "store" frozen food and chill food in the fridge every day without having to deal with a cooler full of water, melting ice and plastic bags.
