Review on JVC Single-Din Car Stereo Player with Bluetooth, Android Music, USB Input & Dual Phone Connection, Plus Free Alphasonik Earbuds by Troy Hamilton

I bought this car stereo to replace the original radio in my daughter's 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer. For installation I bought a "Metra 70-7001 Radio Harness for Mitsubishi 94-Up". With the wiring harness, installation was easy and all the wiring matched perfectly. The speakers were chosen correctly, both in terms of balance and damping. The stereo itself improved the overall sound in the car. Good sound even though I left the original factory speakers in the car. Bluetooth works via a USB adapter that can be plugged into the rear or front port of the device. I chose the rear connector which is on the extension cord just in case I need to move the plug to get a good Bluetooth connection. The Bluetooth connected to the iPhone almost immediately and the audio was clear. The kit also included an external microphone that I installed on the left side of the windshield near the visor. The cord was long enough that I could hide the cord and position the mic in a convenient spot for hands-free calls. I was impressed by how clear the sound is. The radio automatically pauses during phone calls, which is great (and it should be). Almost everything about this radio is well made. It includes a USB and an AUX port on the front of the device, allowing for a variety of connection options. There are plenty of color options too, which is an added bonus when trying to customize the colors of the lights in a car. The only thing that bothers me is that the operation of the search and search on the radio is not intuitive. I've only tried a few times but never found these two functions. My daughter loves this JVC stereo and overall I am happy with the purchase. I think the price, options and quality of this stereo is great value for money! I would recommend.
