This unit was purchased to replace a unit that was confiscated in transit. Customer service was very responsive. Nice packaging, the buttons are yellow and clearly visible. The charger is reliable and wired, doesn't scratch the wall like some others. The variable speed worked well. I was surprised that the device is very stable when mounted on a flexible shaft. The flexible shaft is supplied with the keyless drill chuck fitted. It can be moved to the main unit by inserting a tool into the hole as shown in fig. 5. ATTENTION! Do not attempt to turn or tighten the chuck without the rod inserted into the flexible shaft as the shaft is a spring similar to that used on the herbivore and twist and tie. The instructions for installing the flexible shaft or changing the chuck are not very clear. The silver collet in the accessory box is a flexible shaft adapter as shown in fig 4. Just install it by hand and insert the flexible shaft as it has a key to slide in and out. Be careful not to cut the threads on the flexible shaft at the end of the tool as the tool is plastic and the shaft assembly is metal. So far I've used this tool to grind some rails and it works at medium speed. For light to medium hobbies this should be fine and give you the flexibility to work in tight spaces.
