If you sleep on you back, at least one of your hands, and arm, will fall off the side of the cot. Otherwise, it's exactly as advertised. You will also need some kind of camping mat if you want to be comfortable. I tried to use a 2" tumbling mat but it was too hard - If you sleep on your side, and had a softer mat, you'll have no problem (as long as you're not too tall).
