95% of the time these controllers work the same as my original joycon controllers. They're a bit more difficult to dock on the sides of the console, but they feel nice once they're there. As others have said, they don't fit switch accessories due to the bulge on the back. This wasn't a problem for me as I had just 3D printed a controller mount that they easily slotted into. The other 5% is when the game requires HD Rumble, which these controllers don't support (they only have double vibration). This makes Super Mario party minigames like Nutcase completely impossible. Even with this setback, I'd still recommend it, as the HD hum only occurs a handful of times.
