Installed in a paneled door

This is a solid and well made product! Our old Beagle mix was initially opposed to the idea of using this, she just scratched the valve until someone opened it for her. She eventually learned to push it and see it through. I think the viewing window on the valve helped her see through and gave her confidence. The flap prevents the ingress of outside air very well. The door I installed it in is a wood frame door so after cutting it out I had to frame the sides and top of the opening. The frame consists of a base bar that thickens the panel towards the lower door frame. Cutting these boards wasn't a big deal and the setup looks nice.
