Review on 🌞 Enhanced Solar-Powered Garmin tactix Delta: Specialized Tactical Watch, Built to Military Standards, Night Vision Compatible, Black by Julio Solano

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Absolutely feature rich and looks/feels amazing!

I've had a few Garmin watches in the past and most recently decided to switch from the Fenix 5X to Delta Solar AB. As far as I know, this model is the only one that has both solar and sapphire crystal. All other solar-powered Fenix 6 models use Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while the sapphire crystal versions are not solar-powered. Right off the bat, the Delta looks better in build quality and is slightly heavier than the 5X, likely due to the belt. The backs are also DLC treated steel. I won't go into all the features in detail as it will take literally hours and I could pretty much write a novel, a little bad just saying the sensors on this one are more accurate and a little bit faster than the Fenix 5X. The battery life is much better than the 5x. The Applied Ballistics app is very fast and accurate, can sync with the range finder, and gives you the grips you need quickly and consistently. Basically, Kestrel makes it completely obsolete. The nylon strap that comes with the Delta is amazingly comfortable and extremely durable. Some might find it stiff, but I like stiff straps for better dexterity and control. Overall, I have to say that the only downside for me is the fact that sapphire screens are known to be inherently highly reflective and less "transparent" than Gorilla Glass models, but this "more immersive" effect adds an extra layer Power glass between them making the sapphire even darker than the 5X and a little hard to read. no backlight in low light, but that's a trade-off for much more scratch-resistant glass. However, if you don't pay attention to that, then Delta really doesn't have any other disadvantages.
