I first bought a thermometer when my daughter was born. I have the ones you put in your ear and they were light compared to the non-digital ones you put in your mouth for 2 minutes but I still had issues and they weren't always accurate. I recently discovered that I need a thermometer, it's been over 20 years since I last had one and when I wanted to buy one there were literally hundreds to choose from. I just wanted to know if I have a fever and if so, what kind. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and didn't need other features that I would never use, this was exactly what I needed. The price was right and it couldn't have been easier if the nurse hadn't operated on me. All I had to do was turn it on, point it at my head and pull the trigger. Did . It even turns itself off so I don't have to worry about a thing. Why should I spend more money when this does exactly what I need and it's easy, fast and accurate. I couldn't ask for more. Perfect .
