I first found these grinders about 10 years ago while cleaning and finishing cypress crusts at our house. I've been using them ever since and swear by them. They're soft enough to be comfortable but firm enough to skim with gritty material. And even though the pads are so small, they last a long time. I recommend putting the sandpaper in some small ziplocks or finding a case to fit everything in because packaging is just packaging and in my experience the only way to get more sandpaper is to buy back a product that isn't a bad one Thing is, for now I have one that stays in my wood shop and travels.
