I've had to work from home due to Covid but I have a lot of trouble concentrating when I'm not in the office. This set helped me a lot. I calculated the hourglass; The white was in place while the black worked for about thirty minutes and ten seconds, which is more than enough for the purpose. The glass seems thick enough to withstand small bumps. I don't think they'll survive if they fall to the ground, but I won't try. In short, if you want to use a version of the Pomodoro technique but with something more aesthetic than a kitchen timer, then this is a good set. ETA: My kids found these on my desk and immediately dropped the black one from 3 feet. on the wooden floor. It broke, no wonder. I kind of figured the kids would break them sooner or later, but I was hoping to get more use out of them. OK.
