I'm pretty picky about my Bluetooth speakers and usually choose Anker products, but when I got the Wirecutter Speed Sony SRS speaker saw -XB33 is so good that I decided to try it. Long story short, I was so impressed with the first one I bought that I bought a second one so I could put it in "party mode" and use two at the same time. The sound is excellent: full, rich, with decent bass for such a small device. The software app is pretty crude and has the frustrating limitation of not remembering speaker pairing. This allows you to control the speaker backlight, which is nice. I've found that using the buttons on the back is a much easier way to create a pair of speakers, so I do this every time - I wish it would just remember the setting like my older and cheaper VAVA - speakers do. My only criticism of this product is the lack of an auxiliary input. There are times when an auxiliary input really comes in handy, e.g. B. if I want to take audio from my Nintendo Switch and output it to my speakers. I've bypassed this with a Bluetooth audio transmitter from the Switch, but the audio levels are lower, so it's not ideal. This product could get 5 stars if it had an AUX input. Overall this is a great product and I love that Sony is offering this speaker in bold, beautiful colors - I chose red and it looks fantastic!
