Our two cats like to use our chairs and sofas as scratching posts. We just bought two new chairs and wanted to make sure they didn't get scratched. This product worked so well on the new chairs that I decided to try it on one of our old units and it works there too. They've been sniffed and reprimanded a few times and now they leave them alone (they have a scratching post and an old chair to work with but leave the sprayed items alone. I sterilize each unit once a week. So far so good!
