It met my expectations. I don't know the size of the earring pin (maybe medium)?. But it comes and grabs the pole. That's what I expected. The original yellow gold backs that came with the earrings didn't hold up and came off. I assume the alloying of this 14k white gold should be correct as the metal is resilient and will hold its own. The shipping packaging was good. So now my fiancee is happy with her emerald earrings and I no longer have to worry about the best springy gold alloy. I'm interested in steel alloys (440a,b,c for knives) and titanium alloys, not gold jewelry. I see some confusion in the name of the provider "Kids Gold". They are working on posts for adult sized earrings. There must be a way to specify the diameter of the front pillar and the diameter of the rear pillar!?. I did that with it. I just want to get out and work on my car.
