I use this unit with 4 cameras, 7" Koolertron HD FPV monitor for off-road and 4x4 travel. Remote selects picture-in-picture, quad display or one of the 4 cameras individually * Standard BNC connectors used in most home security systems - in the battery pack to save the settings The Bad: * BNC connectors are notoriously bad at moving * The surface mount ICs are... machine soldered and looks good, all the other electronic parts (stuff that protrudes from the board) are poorly soldered, as are the BNC connectors, I resoldered them all, and since I use them off-road I use the RTV of the electronic ones Great for stabilizing all those components so they don't vibrate.* The menus, aside from selecting the main monitor, are a bit tedious to scroll alas.* The built in battery i st soldered to the board. *The remote control should be pointing straight at the front of the box, I think this is because the receiver unit is recessed under the case. I'll try to unsolder it and pick it up. Despite all these shortcomings, I still give it 4 stars because it works as advertised and is good value.
