If I could give this product zero stars, I would. I've been using an Armor 80 external hard drive (at my desk so I don't have to carry it around) for 2 weeks with no problems. Then one day NO DATA. Around 50 hours of work were required. I contacted Silicon Power support. It took me a few days to get a response and I will only get a response if I resubmit my query in 3 or 4 days. I really had no chance to recover my data. As soon as I got instructions on what to do next and it didn't work, they gave me the same instructions again and said if it didn't work, GOOGLE IT! I'm quite a tech savvy person but now I'm stuck with a dead hard drive and expired from spending hours trying to fix it so I didn't have to reproduce all the work. If you care about your data, I wouldn't go that route. When I googled how to solve this problem, it was obvious that data loss is a common problem with this brand. Revain customer support has been helpful as always, but there's nothing you can do about missing data. :(
