Honestly I think this is a great product and worth the investment to save you from serious injury or worse. In my case, it doesn't fit very well on the stairs, even after adjusting it as tight as possible. The left and right adjustment is fine, but as you can see it still allows some movement when the ladder tilts back. I think that's enough for him to fall when moving and then get stuck on the stairs. However, I bought this primarily to prevent sideways movement, which still seems to happen despite the slightest contact with the "L" shaped piece of metal. So I'm wondering if it's worth keeping or not.
