20 minute install good for me
After unpacking and reading the instructions these bars took about 20 minutes to install by myself. They fit perfectly on my 2017 Kia Niro Ex. These bars are well designed, sturdy, and lightweight aluminum. From 0-79 mph there was no noise. For those having issues, I suggest watching the video on how to install it. The instructions are very clear. The longer bar goes in the front. These bars are also aerodynamic. The fat end of the bar faces the front. Regarding the horror stories I've read about kayaks tearing the roof racks from the roof. Make sure you do not install these racks on the ends of the rails. Those are covers that hide the install bolts of the rail. Those covers will rip off. I've seen photos here of people installing it on the end pieces of the rail.
