Review on Intel E7500 Processor Socket LGA775 by Dimitar Pashov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

That's a great rate of return, and you get your money's worth. And what is it that you seek? It's typical of Intel to increase pricing over time. I've been using this marvel since 2009, and it has never failed me (though there have been moments), it doesn't run hot, and it can be overclocked to 3.8 GHz using just a "piece of aluminum." For the most part, the "hellish stoker" % gets by with a bang, given the nature of the work. I think 775 is a great option as 2 cores, but since some applications require 4 cores, I recommend upgrading to Quad. So, I'm happy with it.

Pros
  • Chilly execution.
Cons
  • The 775 socket is a bit antiquated now. Nonetheless, Quad can be added if desired:D. Slightly pricey, but you can get a used one for $2:)
