They are the right size for my 5 year old with little room to grow. She especially liked the non-slip hearts on the bottom, which even had little sparkles in them. I found the style of them to be very thoughtful for someone in this age range and my daughter has worn them every time they have been clean since she received them a week ago. Inside is just a good jersey, there's nothing on it. strange, like sherpa wool, inside. I really appreciate this simplicity. They wash well and wear well. The only thing I don't like is that the elastic at the top of the sock is too tight, which is unfortunate because my daughter's foot is getting wider. I don't know that they had to make the group so tight. Otherwise they fit well and are good slippers for fall and winter.
