If you want to create a new reef aquarium in a hurry, this is one of the best bacteria to cycle in a tank in 1-2 days. I recorded the results every 2 hours and surprisingly in the first 2 hours the ammonia level starts to rise and fall for 4-5 hours and N02 rises and falls for 7-9 hours and N03 lasts a bit longer, around 22-30 hrs. but 38-40 hours is all low and depends on reef conditions. But I have to use bio media like Live Rock or Carabsea Sand. For my aquarium I used CarabSea Life Rock 20 LBS, Carabsea Life Sand (white and purple) with Reef Sea Reef Salt-Blue (not Red Sea Coral Pro). I don't leave the light on for more than 6 hours the first 2 days and on the third day I added 2 SPS and 3 LSP and everything is great. PH-8.2, alkalinity - 9 and salinity 1.35, now my tank is working fine and after 2 days I turn on the light and protein skimmer. Worth the money with these bacteria
